In June 2006 Hans Aquaculture farm was established by Mr Hasan Attaurehmaan Mhaslai. Initially it was set as an Indian major carp nursery rearing centre, in Gove Village taluka Roha district Raigad Maharashtra India but later on the farm was expanded for breeding ornamental fishes and tilapia cage culture.
Initially Mr Mhaslai started his new farm with carp rearing and later on started breeding in his 2 hectares farm. Later on he took different reservoir on lease from the government and started doing major carp culture. After 3 years of experience in major carp which provided only six months seasonal work. He thought of starting ornamental fish breeding which he started with goldfish varieties and then including Oscar, Dollar, Sevrum, Angels, some varieties of barbs and ornamental catfish. In 2016 he also started tilapia cage culture at Pawna dam near Lonavala. Hans aquaculture farm supplies different types of seeds to many farmers keeping its high quality and good genitical seeds to it's farmers.
The farm is personally monitored by the owner. All the aspects like seed quality, seed packing and transportation is done by the family team. As a result we have become renowned as one of the most comprehensive aquaculture farm in Maharashtra. All of our products which includes Indian major carp fingerlings, tilapia fingerlings, ornamental fishes are produced in compliance with the national standards (good aquaculture practices). Moreover we have established our training center at our farm focusing to help the fish farmers and the new entrepreneur in this field. Due to our good aquaculture practices our clients have high survival rate, high production and good profitability.
We have over 400 regular customers who trust in our quality products contributing to over many hectares of farming area. By our standard and with our commitment and dedication we have developed a good reputation over last decade. Hans aquaculture farm has been awarded with many state and national awards.
